Mississippi Pot Roast

Equipment

  • 1 Crockpot/Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 lb. Chuch Roast
  • 3-4 Pepperoncini Peppers
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Packet Dry Aus Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1 Packet Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 Sprinkle Tony Chachere's Seasoning (optional)

Instructions
 

  • I slice my chuck roast into 1" slices. This step is totally optional though.
  • Add your roast to the crockpot or slow cooker. 
  • (This step is also optional.) Sprinkle your roast with a little Tony Chachere's Seasoning.
  • Next, sprinkle your packet of dry Ranch Dressing Seasoning onto your roast. (I usually only use about 1/2 - 3/4 of the packet but some people do sprinkle the whole packet).
  • Then sprinkle your packet of dry Au Jus Gravy Mix onto your roast.
  • Slice your stick of butter into 1/2" sections and place on top of your roast.
  • Place 4 or 5 Pepperoncini peppers in the pot.
  • Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.
  • That's It! Prepare to enjoy the most delicious meal ever!!
