First, place 1 & ½ cup of chicken broth into your Instant Pot.
Next add your chicken breast to your Instant pot.
Then sprinkle your three packets on top of your meat.
Next, close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
Then press the “Pressure Cook” button. Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until you have selected “High Pressure”.
Turn the timer on for about 30 minutes if you have 3.5 lbs. of chicken breast. We use the Instant Pot guide which states 6-8 minutes of high pressure per pound of chicken breast.
Our chicken breasts were thick so we rounded up from 28 – 30 minutes. Once the pressure builds up, the timer will start counting down.
Once the timer has completed let it do a natural release of pressure. Which means do not open the venting valve. It will naturally release the pressure on its own in about 20-30 minutes.
After all the pressure has released you can open the Instant Pot and serve!
