Instant Pot

Easy Instant Pot Shrimp Recipe (3 Ingredients)

This Easy Instant Pot Shrimp Recipe makes the most delicious shrimp I have ever eaten!   It is a very easy dump and push start recipe.   You can eat them just by their self, or you can serve them over rice or pasta.  It is so quick and easy to make, and they taste so delicious.   This recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight meal too.  It is only 3 ingredients not counting the shrimp.  We use the regular packet of dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix not the zesty Italian flavor.

The shrimp are thawed and produce plenty of liquid/juices that will bring your Instant Pot to pressure. If you look at the image of the shrimp in my Instant Pot after pressure cooking you will see a lot of buttery juice that it made on its own. I did not add any additional liquid.

      Thanks! They were delicious!

Just wondering…looks like you used Country Crock instead of butter…have you tried it with real butter and will it stick work the same?

Any suggestions of generic ingredients to replace “Tony Chachere’s Seasoning“ which is not available around here.

The ingredients in Tony Chachere’s Seasoning is salt, red pepper, black pepper, chili powder, & garlic powder according to the container. I don’t find that it taste much like chili powder though…..
Any type of a season all would be closest to it like Slap Ya Mama or Morton Season All.

I would order some Tony Chachere’s through Amazon and have it shipped to you….if I were you. I use it on everything.

Made this tonight in my Instant Pot. Used 1 stick of butter with Italian Dressing packet and shrimp for 1.5 minutes. Cooked some Fettuccini and mixed pasta, shrimp and the sauce altogether. This was so good and very easy! Will make this again and again.

Boy, am I ever glad I happened upon this recipe yesterday! I think it’s one of the best things I’ve made in my Instant Pot! I cooked spaghetti in the Instant Pot ahead of time and then, once the shrimp were done, mixed them and the glorious sauce altogether. Wow. The flavor is sooooo delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
