Before pressure cooking, we took the husk off and trimmed the very top of the ears of corn if needed.
(See images below.)
We have an 8 qt. Instant Pot so I didn’t have any issue getting them to all fit. If you have a smaller Instant Pot you could cut them in half also.
We also used our trivet that came with our Instant Pot to steam them. Once the trivet is placed in the Instant Pot I placed my corn standing up on top.

You pour in your one cup of chicken broth, close the lid, and then steam them. It is that easy!

Ingredients – Easy Instant Pot Corn on the Cob
12 ears corn on the cob
1 cup of chicken broth
Butter
Seasoning of Choice (We use Nature Seasoning)
Instructions – Easy Instant Pot Corn on the Cob
#1. First place the trivet in your Instant Pot.
#2. Next, add your 1 cup of chicken broth.
#3. Then place your corn on top of the trivet.
#4. Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
#5. Next, press the pressure cook button and set the timer for 5 minutes.
#6. Once the timer has completed let your Instant Pot do a natural pressure release for 10 minutes. Then do a quick release of any remaining steam. **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
#7. That’s it! Your fresh corn on the cob is ready to be served with some butter and any seasoning of your choice!

- Pressure Cooker - Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 12 Ears Corn on the Cob
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- Butter
- Seasoning of Choice we like Nature's Seasoning Blend
Instructions
- Then place your corn on top of the trivet.
- Close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
- Next, press the pressure cook button and set the timer for 5 minutes.
- Once the timer has completed let your InstantPot do a natural pressure release for 10 minutes. Then do a quick release of any remaining steam. **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
- That’s it! Your fresh corn on the cob is ready to be served with some butter and any seasoning of your choice!
