What goes good with Instant Pot Green Bean Casserole
We always have our green bean casserole on the holidays with turkey, ham, and rice dressing. It is a tradition. I don’t typically think about making green bean casserole any other time. However, I do have a few other Instant Pot recipes that would go great with green bean casserole too! And as always, they are quick and easy recipes that only require a few ingredients! 🙂

Ingredients – Dump and Go Instant Pot Green Bean Casserole
- 4 Cans Whole Green Beans
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 2 Cans Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup (this comes together in one can)
- Container Fried Onions
Instructions – Dump and Go Instant Pot Green Bean Casserole
#1. First, put your one cup of chicken broth and 4 cans of drained green beans in your Instant Pot.
#2. Next, put your two cans of Cream of chicken and mushroom soup on top and do not stir.
#3. Then, close the lid and turn the steam release valve to the “sealing” position.
#4. Press the “Pressure Cook” button. Next, press the “Pressure Level” button until you have selected “High Pressure”.
#5. Turn the timer on for 1 minute. Once pressure builds up, the timer will start counting down.
#6. After the timer has completed turn the steam release valve to “Venting” for a quick release of steam. **Warning – The steam is very hot, use a towel or long spoon to turn the release valve so it does not burn you.
#7. Now all you have to do is stir your pot together and top with fried onions. You can either stir and then place the green beans in a serving dish first before topping with fried onions or, serve it straight from your Instant Pot with the fried onions on top!
Now, if you have a Mealthy Crisp Lid for your Instant Pot then you could top your casserole with fried onions in your Instant Pot then make them extra crispy with the Mealthy Crisp Lid. We don’t own one of these cool gadgets but it is definitely on my list…. maybe for Christmas this year!
