Instant Pot Tacos are so quick and easy to make. I love cooking my ground turkey or ground beef in the pressure cooker rather than on the stove. We prefer the texture of the meat after it has been cooked in the Instant Pot. Not to mention that the flavor and seasoning are more absorbed into the meat.

You can make this for one serving of tacos. Or, you could make one large batch and freeze into individual portions to be used for quick weeknight dinners.
Below are 10 meals you can make with Instant Pot Taco Meat.
- Quesadilla
- Burrito
- Taco Salad
- Taco Baked Potato
- Mexican Pizza
- Crunchy Taco
- Soft Taco
- Queso Dip
- Mix with a box of Mac N Cheese
- Tator Tots with Taco Meat and Cheese
We enjoy ours as regular soft tacos. You could also make your own homemade taco seasoning if you prefer. We like Frontera’s Taco Skillet Sauce with Red Chile & Cumin. It is in a liquid form rather than a dried seasoning which is another reason why we prefer it. If you have never tried it before….you should!
We use the 8 qt. Instant Pot to prepare all of our meals.
We also use a digital cooking thermometer like this. If you have any question about what temperature something should be cooked at or reheated at you can check out FoodSafety.gov.
This recipe is enough to feed a family of four.

Final Thoughts
We love soft ground beef tacos when we eat out. We tried to make them on the stove with the dry taco seasoning packets and boxes you can find at the grocery store. They never quite came out just the way we liked them. Until we tried the liquid Frontera Ground Beef Taco Skillet Sauce in the Instant Pot! It makes all the difference in the world!
